It’s been one of those weeks when I open up my browser to write a blog post, and the words just don’t come out…. on top of the fact that I’m woefully short on time to post these days, so if the words don’t come in that narrow window of opportunity… Well, let’s just say that I don’t worry about it too much and just skip posting.

Let’s just say there’s been a lot of shit going on recently. Let’s recap…

1. The cat. If you’re one of my Twitter followers you might already know that our cat Logan is having some health issues, a trip to the vet early last week resulted in concerns that the little guy might have lymphoma. He had bloodwork done and was none too happy about it… and then on Friday, he had a biospy done so he’s been running around ever since in a cone of shame.

Despite the fact that I’d seen YouTube videos of cats coming out of anesthesia and laughed at them (because honestly… it is kinda funny) somehow, it’s a lot less funny when it’s your cat who’s trying to stand up and walk but when he tries, he just topples over… once he had his walking legs back, I started following him around and nicknamed him Mr. Wobbles because of his drunk-like swagger.

We should have the results of the biopsy back today or tomorrow… I’m hoping it’s not lymphoma. I’m so not ready to say goodbye to my sweet kitty, even if he does constantly try to sneak out and tries to bat food out of my hand.

2. Saturday in Central Park. I spent Saturday in Central Park with The Blank Canvas Tour and took a bunch of pictures!

3. I took my first trip to Long Island on Sunday. We went out to visit some friends who live out there. It was a totally relaxing afternoon of sitting in George’s backyard watching George and James construct a sliding screen door without reading the directions… cause you know, real men don’t need to read no fucking directions.
