I had the good fortune of being invited to go on a trip to Lake St. Catherine in Vermont this past weekend by my friends Suzi and Robbie who were going up to see their friend Russ who’s family owns a place up there. Far overdue for a trip out of the city, I gave an enthusiastic yes to the opportunity.
Recounting my travels is one of those things that I always seem to be shit for brains about, so I think you should just enjoy the pictures.
On Saturday, there was a rainstorm that came through. On the tail end of it, there was a rainbow over the lake.
We also formed a Vermont Pimp Panther gang with t-shirts we found at a dollar store (photos courtesy of Suzi):
But, New York was not to be outdone in the rainbow department. On our drive back to the city we ran into a rainstorm, during which we stopped at a rest area about 100 miles north of the city and after we’d done our business and eaten our fast food… We were greeted by this beauty:
But Robbie got a way better picture of the extent of the rainbow because he can make his phone do that whole panorama thing…

Looks so relaxing and serene there! Nice.

okay, phone pictures or not, these are great! Holy gorgeous – I mean, look at that rainbow (or should I say, “those rainbows?”). Anyway, I’m glad you got a weekend away, especially one that you got to spend around trees!!
